Dunragit Community Hub Update

It’s all been very exciting over at Dunragit, with the new community hub cabin delivered to site, assembly completed and utilities connected. The flooring is down and all fixtures and fittings are in the process of being installed.

Many thanks to our funders, to Island Leisure for building our beautiful cabin and to Whitecairn for delivering the cabin to site. Delivery day was quite the community effort and thank you very much to everyone who came along and helped. Thanks also to ERM Plant and Graeme Reid for their speedy work on the cabin base and their continued work on the groundworks, and to Kinnears for prompt installation of our lovely flooring.

The cabin will open for use in late October, with the official opening later in the year once the terracing and car park are complete. Please look out on our Facebook page for our first hub volunteer’s meeting, which will take place once the chairs arrive.
