Next Meeting

The next Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 30 October 2024 at 7pm at Glenluce Public Hall. The meeting is a chance to hear about the work of the Trust over the preceding year, hear updates on current projects and elect new officers, and provides an opportunity for discussion. All members and those wishing to become a member are welcome to attend, but only full members are eligible to vote.

Director Nominations

At each AGM, three of the Trust’s Directors step down and three new Directors are elected. If you would like to be considered for Director, please complete a nomination form. Nominated persons must be proposed and seconded by members of the Trust and must be present at the AGM. Those members proposing and seconding a prospective Director are not obligated to attend. Please send in your nomination form at least 24 hours before the AGM.

Proxy Nominations

During the AGM, every member shall be entitled to vote on each matter that requires a vote at the meeting.  For members who are unable to attend the meeting, you will be able to have your vote by nominating a proxy. Anyone who wishes to nominate a proxy for the AGM should complete the Proxy Form, and return the completed form to thetrust@oldluce.org.uk.  Proxy nominations must be received 48 hours before the AGM and the nominated proxy must also be a member of the Trust.  Full details can be found in articles 48-57 of the Articles of Association.
