King’s Coronation Celebrations

Old Luce Community Council celebrated HM King Charles III’s coronation in Glenluce Public Hall on Saturday 6 May. Old Luce parish residents viewed the coronation service on the large screen and were treated afterwards to a delicious afternoon tea with scones and home baking provided by Homemade by AH, along with sandwiches, tea and coffee. Newspapers covering HM Queen Elizabeth II’s 1953 coronation were displayed along with artwork created by Glenluce Primary schoolchildren. Many thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and talents to make this such an enjoyable day for attendees
